National Walk in the Woods Day - May 21

The Friends of Andover Community Trees (FACT) invites everyone to celebrate our local forests by taking part in Andover's celebration of National Walk in the Woods Day, May 21. The U.N has declared 2011 as the Year of the Forest and the National Forest Foundation chose Saturday, May 21 as National Walk in the Woods Day.™ In Andover, two noted woodsmen and hikers – Fred Snell, president of AVIS (Andover Village Improvement Society) and David Bunting, president of Andover Trails Committee – will lead the informative walks. http://ping.fm/HHJPa
